Rock the Bells is consistently the annual geek-out for hip-hop purists who can't let go of loving classic acts from the golden era of the early to mid 90s. The festival isn't letting up this year with the announcement of this year's reunion of legendary L.A. group, The Pharcyde. Thinking that yesterday was going to be relaxing, I suddenly realized around 4:00 p.m. that I had to attend a viewing of one of my friend's father who recently passed away. Fortunately, most of the things that I needed to do were done, so I ate an early dinner and left for the funeral home around 7:30. Upon my arrival, I entered to see my friend and give my condolences. I am a news junkie and admittedly if I had cable plus the extra TV I would probably have either CNN or CBC Newsworld on the whole time I’m in my room I jokingly call my office. I suppose this means the most recently announced release date (May 20) is really going to be it. Here's hoping that one of the big MMORPGs has a smooth launch and delivers what players expect - the industry can do with some good news after Tabula Rasa and Vanguard, or we'll all be playing 2D flash MMOs in a few years' time.
