The Today Show isn't great. Hell, it's not even good. Yet I watch it every morning. Perhaps it's my dreariness or the lack of quality breakfast news shows out there (Good Morning America? Please). Mark Naison, Ph.D., professor of African and African-American studies, provided news commentary for an upcoming episode in which the show’s hosts attempted to find out if 1520 Sedgwick Ave. in the Bronx was the birthplace of Hip-Hop.
