American idol news for today. One of the contestants, David Cook, had to be taken to the hospital last night after the show.

Although NBC has yet to officially unveil its lineup for next season — that announcement is expected any minute now at the Peacock's New York headquarters — my sources are telling me it'll probably look a lot like the schedule below. The big news: Friday Night Lights has been renewed(!!), and The Office is getting spun off (told ya)
